Blooming Onion

So if you’re really careful and patient with impeccable dexterity, you too can make a blooming onion.  This has been a request for awhile now and after only 4 failed attempts we finally fine tuned a process for you guys to fail at home as well.  Oh, but the sauce is really easy to make…  I think in the future onion petals would be a more practical way to eat a deep fried breaded onion even more so than an onion ring, but as I sit here typing and rambling, I’ve realized I’m not really selling anybody on this dish.  It tastes really good!

  6. Toss the cut onion into the dry mix and make sure the flour gets into the nooks & crannies of the onion petals or it won't come out looking right
