Once again we joined forces with our good friend Josh Elkin to create a tribute to our Youtube inspiration: EpicMealTime.  Back when we we first met we loved watching this famously glutinous channel showcasing crazy fast food concoctions, hard man attitude, and highly caloric meals and with the help of an OG member we we’re able to recreate one of their most iconic recipes, The Fast Food Lasagna.

Author: HellthyJunkFood
Recipe Type: Entree
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 15 Big Macs
  • 15 Teen Burgers
  • 7 Orders Onion Rings
  • 2 Lg pkg Bacon
  • 1 Lg Cup Big Mac Sauce
  • 2 Lg Bags Mozzarella Cheese

Meat Sauce:

  • 1 Lg Onion
  • 1 Lg Can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 pkg Italian Sausage
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • Jack Daniels

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

Instructions:

  1. Begin with laying the bacon strips on a tinfoil lined baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Make the chili by mincing an onion and chopping the cooked bacon. Place them in a large stock pot at medium high heat. Cook down until caramelized then add the sausage and ground beef. Cook down and strain extra oil. Add the red sauce and seasoning. Add Jack Daniels, to taste. Bring to a boil and then simmer for at-least 1 hour. The longer you simmer the more the flavors will fortify.
  3. In a buffet tray build your lasagna starting with a layer of 15 Baconators, bacon strips, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Then a layer of 15 Teen Burgers, bacon strips, big mac sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Top it off with 15 Big Macs, meat sauce, bacon strips, onion rings, and shredded mozzarella.
  4. Broil until golden brown on top.
  5. Dig in like your life depends on it!
