We saw mozzarella sticks and tacos on the menu at a local restaurant and we we’re inspired to combine them. This is a cheesy and saucy recipe that may not be healthy for you but it is certainly a cheat day treat. You should try this at least once especially if you’re craving both mozzarella sticks and tacos. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
Taco Shell:
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
- ½ Pkg Mozzarella Cheese Slices
Meat Filling:
- 1 Lb Ground Beef
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- ¼ Cup Water
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Garlic Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
Toppings:
- Marinara
- Shredded Mozzarella
- Parsley Flakes

Instructions:
- On a microwavable safe dinner plate, place 6 pieces of
mozzarella cheese slices.
- Microwave for 30 second increments; molding the cheese
into the shape of the circle.
- Once melted and molded, place on top of parchment paper.
Place another piece of parchment paper on top and fold the cheese circle in
half. Freeze 1-2 hours.
- Once frozen, bread with flour, egg, flour, egg, then
Italian bread crumbs.
- Filling
- Mix together meat filling ingredients in a bowl. Heat a
pan to medium high heat and cook down the meatball meat like taco beef. Set
aside.
- Build
- Deep fry at 350F until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Fill with meatball "taco" meat, marinara,
shredded mozzarella cheese, and parsley flakes.
