Nashville Hot Chicken

Unfortunately we do not have the privilege to have tried authentic Nashville Hot Chicken. At least when I wrote this, I have yet to have tried it, which is funny how the future works. Regardless we have combined the spices from KFC’s original recipe and Nashville’s hot oil mixture to create a hybrid flavor beast for your mouth. Make sure you do not have serious heart conditions before consuming, it could very well be your last bite, for the hellth of it.

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

  1. Coat all of your chicken with 1 Tbsp Sea Salt & 1 Tsp Black Pepper, cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Wet mixture consists of 1 Cup whole milk, 2 Eggs & ¼ Cup Louisiana Hot Sauce, whisked well.
  3. Dry Mixture consists of the 11 "Secret" Herbs & Spices listed above along with 2 Cups of Flour.
  4. Soak your chicken in the wet mixture first and then dredge into the dry mixture, back into the wet mixture back into the dry and ready to fry.
  5. Deep fry your chicken at 325°F for roughly 20 minutes to fully cook, but if the color gets too dark you can fry for less time and finish it off in the oven. Make sure your chicken is at 165°F before consuming. Thermometers come in handy.
  6. Mix your Nashville Heat Spices together and ladle in ½ Cup of your fryer oil and then simply drizzle this on top of your chicken.
  7. Serve with dill pickle slices on top and enjoy!
