In another episode of HJF, JP & Julia compete to see who can make the most delicious pizza dogs, not to be confused with hotdog pizza.  There truly are so many ways to combine these two wonderful foods.  See a few examples below.

  • Hot dog Bun
  • Hot dog
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Favorite Pizza Toppings

THINGS YOU’LL NEED:



Instructions:



  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place the hotdog bun standing up, held up by tin foil.
  3. Add cooked hotdog.
  4. Evenly spread pizza sauce, cheese, and favorite pizza toppings.
  5. Bake until melted and enjoy!!

French Pizza Hot Dogs

Looking to change up the traditional pizza dog? Instead of using a regular hot dog bun switch it out with hardy french bread. This tastes exactly like French bread pizza but with the added hot dog flavors.

  • French Bread (Hero roll)
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese (Low Moisture Part Skim)
  • Favorite Pizza Toppings
  • Hot dog

THINGS YOU’LL NEED:




Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the bread without cutting all the way through.
  3. Place the bread standing up, held up by tin foil.
  4. Evenly spread pizza sauce, cheese, and favorite pizza toppings into the bread and bake until melted.
  5. Add hotdog and top with more sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  6. Bake one more time until melted and enjoy!!
