We got asked to stuff a burger inside a burger, which is a phenomenal idea. My favorite burger is the Baconator due to it’s simplicity and incredible balance of salt, savory and salt… and savory. I took this recipe on as a challenge because going into this I wasn’t 100% sure if I could pull off an entire burger, bun, toppings and all into another burger patty. Ingredients:
- Hamburger Bun
- Slider Bun
- 2 Lbs 80/20 Ground Beef
- 6 Slices Cheddar Cheese
- 8 Thick Cut Bacon Strips
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise

Instructions:
- Make a miniature baconator, which consists of a slider bun, two small
square patties, two slices of cheese, two layers of bacon topped with
ketchup and mayonnaise
- Take approximately ¾ pound of meat and flatten it out to about ¼"
thick and place your miniature baconator in the center of the "raw"
meat
- Fold the sides up around the miniature baconator until it looks like
a bread bowl
- Take another ¼ pound of meat and flatten it out and place it on top
as the lid
- Spend some time blending the two parts together to prevent it from
opening up
- Grill each side on high heat for 2 minutes until the entire outside
surface is browned
- Finish it off in a 450°F preheated oven for 20 minutes or until
fully cooked
- Now you have a baconator inside a round piece of meat
- Repeat step 1, with a regular sized hamburger bun, stuffed baconator
patty, an additional square ¼ lb patty, 4 slices of cheese, two
layers of bacon topped with ketchup and mayonnaise
