Giant Cheese Stuffed Takis - JP vs Julia

Competition is on, this time encrusting our favorite recipe in Takis.  Who will win?  Who will become victorious?  Who will beat the other person.  Who will come in 1st?  These are all questions that are redundantly asking the same thing.


JP's Cheese Stuffed Takis

Ingredients:


  • 18x Polly-O String Cheese (Mozzarella)
  • or Giant Deli Mozzarella Log
  • 4 Bags of Takis Feugo
  • Flour
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Lime Juice
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:



Instructions:


  1. Grind up Takis
  2. Melt the Polly-O String cheese in intervals of 1 minute stirring in between
  3. Once it all congeals together, carefully stuff it inside a paper towel roll that is lined with plastic wrap so the cardboard doesn't stick to the cheese
  4. If you go with Julia's version you can skip step 3
  5. Dry Mix: 1 Cup Flour, 1 tsp Cayenne, 1 tsp Paprika, 1 tsp Chili Powder
  6. Wet Mix: 1 Egg, ½ Cup Milk & Lime Juice
  7. We decided to do a triple coat of dry, wet, dry wet, dry, wet... than Takis
  8. Deep Fry @ 350°F for 4 minutes
  9. If you decide to freeze, you might have to bake it in the oven depending on how giant you made it
