Instructions:
- Cut 3-1/2 pounds Green Apples into 2 inch pieces
- Add to a large pot 6-1/3 Cups cold water
- Simmer 30 minutes
- Strain liquid and stir in 4-2/3 Cups Sugar & 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- Boil until it passes wrinkle test then refrigerate
- Cook 4 Cups any juice into medium sauce pan until it reduces to 1 Cup
- Sprinkle 2 Tbsp Powdered Gelatin over 1/2 Cup Cold Water
- Soften 10 minutes
- Combine 1/2 Cup Apple Jelly, 1/2 Cup Reduced Fruit Juice and Gelatin in Sauce Pan dissolve over low heat
- Fill molds with mixture
- reserve half of the mixture to use as glue
- For the giant version use a cup to create a cavity in to fill the juice into, don't worry if it bottoms out
- Once the mold has chilled for a few hours remove the bowl, re-heat your reserved gelatin mixture and pour that into the cavity to seal leaving some cavity to fill with gusher center
- Once they have chilled again, ensuring the gusher is still in the mold pour in your strawberry syrup into the cavity and the remaining mixture on top of the gusher, do not overflow.
- Place the other half on top, this will then seal the two sides together once chilled for the last time.
- Dive in and remember, take atleast 1 bite for the HELLth of it.
