DIY Just The Crust Pizza
In celebration of 25 years of stuffed crust at Pizza Hut we bought Papa Johns and made our own. Which tastes the best? We put them to the test.

Ingredients:
- 1 Pilsbury Thin Crust Pizza Dough
- 16 Sandwich Pepperonis
- 8 Strings Cheese
- 1/3 Stick of Butter
- Flour for rolling out the dough
Marinara
- 1 Can (15 oz) Tomato Sauce
- 6 oz Tomato Paste
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Dry Oregano
- ½ Tsp Marjoram
- ½ Tsp Dry Basil
- ½ Tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ Tsp Salt
Cheesy Herb Topping
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 Tsp Garlic Salt
- 2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 2 Tsp Oregano
- 2 Tsp Basil

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F
- Mix together marinara ingredients. Set aside.
- Mix together Cheesy Herb Topping ingredients. Set aside.
- Roll out the dough thin and trim off excess dough to make a rectangular shape. Cut in half long ways and connect the two ends.
- Next take some string cheese, slice it in half, and roll large sandwich pepperonis around each one. Place directly onto the dough.
- Roll the dough over the entire length giving it a very tight and uniform thickness throughout.
- Now form it into a circle and connect the final end together using the longer uncut sting cheese and pepperoni.
- Brush melted butter on top before baking.
- Bake 10-15 minutes or until the dough. Once internal Temperature is at 192°F it us done!
- Lastly, slather on more melted butter and shake on the seasonings.
