All you do is set up your mug with your ingredients, pop them in the microwave, let cool enough to not burn your tongue, and fork it. Now, on the giant trend we we're thinking, is it even possible to cook through a giant mug cake in the microwave? No fret, our pets, we head to the test kitchen to find the cook time of every size mug cake from espresso cup to huge mug like bowl.

This is a delicious recipe for chocolate cake! Don't like chocolate? No problem, use any eggless cake recipe.
Chocolate Mug Cake
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Vanilla Mug Cake
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg yolk , or substitute for 1 more tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sprinkles , optional
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2-3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon milk
Pancake Mug Cake
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour.
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda.
- 2 teaspoon maple syrup (honey or agave)
- 1 tablespoon milk.
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
- 1 egg.
- 1 tablespoon blueberries , fresh or frozen.
- (1 minute 15 seconds or until top is firm)

- 6 tablespoon all-purpose flour

- 2/3 Cup Elbow Macaroni
- 1-1/2 Cup Water, cold
- 8 Tbsp Milk
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- Salt & Pepper
- 6 Tbsp Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 oz Velveeta Cheese
Fried Rice Mug Cake
- 2 Cups Rice
- 3-1/2 Cups Water or stock
- 1-1/2 tsp butter
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Cup Cooked Jasmine Rice
- 2 Tbsp frozen peas
- 2 Tbsp chopped carrots
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp Five Spice Powder
Eggs Benedict Mug Cake
- English Muffin
- Bacon or Ham
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 1/4 lemon juiced
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup salted buter melted
- 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise

Instructions:
Mug Cake Instructions:
- Stir dry ingredients together in a microwavable safe mug.
- Whisk in wet ingredients.
- Add any extras like chocolate chips or sprinkles.
- Cook in a microwave for to the chart below based on your mug size
- Let cool 2-3 minutes
- World's Largest Gigantic Mug: 20 minutes
- Jumbo Mug: 5 minutes
- Normal Mug: 1 minute 45 seconds
- Tiny Mug: 1 minute
- Add eggs & milk and beat
- Microwave on high for 45 seconds stir
- Microwave until eggs are almost set, 30 to 45 seconds longer
- Toast english muffin
- Microwave bacon in mug
- McMuffin Egg, spray mug & crack egg into mug
- Microwave 45 seconds
- Add broken spaghetti, water & salt, stir
- Cover and microwave high for 4 minutes
- Stir
- Cover and microwave high for 3-4 minutes
- Microwave meatballs in mug
- Add spaghetti, mix in tomato sauce, add meatballs and microwave
- Top with grated cheese and Italian seasoning
- Microwave meat in mug
- Microwave bacon in mug
- Microwave meat with cooked cheese & bacon in a mug
- Toast bun
- Add pickles, ketchup & mustard to bottom bun
- Flip mug on top of bottom bun
- Put top on
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder & soda together
- Whisk 3 Tbsp Milk & 1 Tbsp Oil
- Add marinara sauce
- Top with cheese & mini pepperoni
- Microwave 70-80 seconds
- Macaroni, water & salt microwave 2-3 minutes stir
- Add milk, cornstarch, cheese, salt & pepper microwave 60 seconds
- Microwave 10 minutes uncovered on high
- Microwave 15 minutes uncovered on medium low
- Do not stir rice
- Cover mug with rice & peas & carrots, cover with cling film
- Beat egg yolks, lemon juice, salt & cayenne pepper
- Slowly stream melted butter into the egg yolk mixture while whisking
- Microwave for 15 to 20 seconds
- Add hot water to mug & salt, 1/2 tsp cider vinegar
- Break egg into mug while in microwave
- Microwave 2.5-3 minutes
- Microwave bacon
- Lay bacon down on english muffins
- Lay poached egg on top
- Ladle on hollandaise and sprinkle on chives
