Spaghetti Inside A Meatball
On a smaller scale I could see this being a fun thing to order at an Italian Restaurant as long as there aren’t any Italian’s working there. I think my mom approves though, so that’s all that matters.

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti
- Fresh Parsley (garnish)
- Fresh Parmesan Reggiano
Netty's Meatballs:
- 1 Lb Ground Beef
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- ¼ Cup Water
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Garlic Salt
- ¼ tsp Pepper
Meat Sauce:
- 1 Lb Ground Beef
- ⅓ Medium Sized Bell Pepper (small dice)
- ⅓ Medium Sized Onion (small dice)
- 2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- 28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Italian Seasonings
- ½ tsp Pepper
- 1 Cup Purified Water
Instructions:
- Saute Peppers & Onions and set aside
- Brown 1 Lb Ground Beef and toss in all the ingredients listed
- Bring mixture to a boil and let simmer until reduced and thickens
- Make Spaghetti according to directions and portion out the amount you
want inside your meatball. Make sure it's not too much or else it
will be cumbersome to handle. Mix the amount of meat sauce you want
to the portion of spaghetti and using tin toil, wrap the spaghetti up
into a ball and freeze it.
- For the meatballs simply mix the ingredients listed together and then
press it around the frozen spaghetti ball. Once it is completely
sealed you can pan fry it for 2 minutes per side on medium high heat.
- Once all sides have been pan fried, finish it off in a 400°F oven
until the internal temperature is 165°F. This can take up to 30
minutes before the spaghetti is hot inside.
- Now dress the meatball with more meat sauce, grate some fresh
parmesan on top and sprinkle on some fresh parsley as a finishing
touch.
- Cut into the giant meatball and watch the spaghetti pour out from the
inside like guts coming out of a dead body.
